Genetics don’t determine exactly what your plant becomes

They determine what it’s capable of becoming O_O

A seed is not a finished promise. It’s a loaded possibility. (damn i should make that into a hallmark card… O_o anyways.. )

Inside that little thing are thousands of genes waiting for the right conditions to either turn on, turn down, or stay quiet like they got invited to the party and decided to stand in the kitchen all night.

The Same genotype can still express differently depending on the environment. Temperature, light intensity, spectrum, root zone health, nutrient availability, stress, timing, training…

O_O all of it changes which parts of the plant’s genetic potential actually show up.

That’s why two seeds from the same pack can still look different, smell different, yield different, and even test different. They’re not copies. They’re siblings. The genetics set the range, and the environment decides how much of that range gets expressed.

For example, I’M VERY FUCKING SHORT O_O

Meanwhile my little brother came out a fricken giant.

I’m 5’7″ ish

He’s 6’3″.

Same family.

Completely different phenotypes… Not fair 🙁

Cannabis seeds from the same pack are basically siblings too.

Same genetic family, different expression.

I’m sure a lot of you have examples like this lol.

Elite genetics are not elite because they guarantee fire no matter what you do. They’re elite because the ceiling is higher. The potential for resin, terpene expression, structure, vigor, and cannabinoid production is sitting there in the code, but your grow decides how close the plant gets to that ceiling.

You didn’t buy a guaranteed outcome when you bought those seeds.

it bought a range of possible outcomes, and your environment picks the number.

Basically you bought a character with high stats, then your grow room decided whether it became Goku or a mr krabs with calcium issues.

Keep on Growing O_O
